Is its history stable? (Frequent ownership changes can be a red flag.)
What does the backlink profile look like? (Strong references from reputable sites build trust; spammy links tell another story.)
Is there real search interest? (Google Trends reveals whether people truly care or if it’s just a passing hype.)

These checks are automated, impartial, and data-driven. They give us a reliable “first filter” — much like checking the ID of a stranger before letting them into your home.

Listening Beyond the Numbers

But numbers alone are not enough. Behind every score lies a human story — of users who tried, trusted, or were disappointed. This is where we go deeper, not with automation, but with attention.
Here, we look at:

Online Reviews: Are people finding value, or are they crying out in frustration?
Product Quality Signals: Is there transparency in refunds, proof, and clarity of claims?
Regulatory Red Flags: Has the product faced complaints with the BBB, FTC, or similar authorities?

This system is deliberately split into two paths:

  1. The Score Engine:
    Used for ranking and filtering, so you can instantly see which products stand on stronger ground.

  2. The Analyst Flags:
    Not part of the score, but displayed alongside it, so you can weigh the human stories and warning signs.

Together, they create balance. The machine brings consistency. The human lens brings wisdom.
